Uninsured and in need of behavioral health services? PCS can meet your behavioral health needs through the Behavioral Health Safety Net Program. BHSN is free coverage that will allow individuals to receive mental health services at our offices. BHSN is available for adults and children/youth.

BHSN for Adults

In order to qualify, you must have:

  • A household income at or below 138% of the Federal Poverty Level
  • A qualifying mental health diagnosis

And are:

  • A Tennessee resident, 18 years or older
  • A U.S. Citizen or qualified alien
  • Not currently in an inpatient facility or nursing home
  • Not an inmate or incarcerated
  • Ineligible for VA benefits, TennCare, or have filled out a TennCare application
  • Lacking private health insurance which covers behavioral health benefits, or all behavioral health benefits have been exhausted for the year

BHSN for Children and Youth

In order to qualify, you must have:

  • A qualifying mental health diagnosis

And are:

  • A Tennessee resident, 5-17 years old
  • A U.S. Citizen or qualified alien
  • Not currently in a long-term inpatient/residential facility or in State's custody
